Biography
I grew up in British Hong Kong and immigrated to the United States with my family when I was nine years old. I grew up in Anaheim, California, living a few miles from Disneyland. I can see Disney fireworks from my room. I love learning about history because historic events and political leaders have a big impact on people's lives. My parents' fateful decision to emigrate from Hong Kong before its handover to China has proven to be prescient given the far-reaching changes the territory has experienced in recent years.
