American Tutors provides online asynchronous self-paced video courses with video lectures, practice activities, quizzes, support files, and assessments. The course you would be creating would NOT be synchronous live teaching. You would upload your completed course for American Tutors to market and sell, and you would earn 40% revenue sharing on your course(s).(Required)

Who is your target audience of learners for your course?
American Tutors Course Requirements: Total Course time: At least 30 min of video lectures; at least 5 Units; at least 1 video lecture per unit; at least 1 Practice Activity per Unit; at least 1 Quiz per Unit; ; and at least 1 learning file upload per course.(Required)
Please enter a number from 0.5 to 120.
Keep in mind that you may want to start with shorter courses first, rather than submitting a long course. Consider a 30 minute to 5 hour course as your first submission. Keep in mind that if you are submitting a middle or high school semester course for homeschool students to use on their transcript, your credits course must include be at least 120 hours of student work that could be completed in 18 weeks for 1 high school credit, including video lecture watching, practice activities, quizzes, and support document review. Middle and high school Quarter courses must be at least 60 hours of student work and 9 weeks. Year-long homeschool high school courses need to be divided into an A and a B part to be sellable in semester increments.
Ex. "HOW TO MASTER 9TH GRADE MATH makes it easy to ace your final exam, guiding you through practice problems and testing your knowledge at every step."
At least 1 minute of video is required. 2MB max per video. Compress video with program like Handbrake, free to download. Video format: .mp4 or .mov. Record in HD at 720p or 1080p. Audio: Must use lapel mic or separate mic. (Audio recorded directly from phone or laptop mics will not produce high enough quality for our video courses). You'll need: Screen recording software (Ex. CamStudio, Camtasia, OBS Studio) and video editing software (Ex. Blender, Lightworks, Shotcut, Openshot, iMovie (mac). You may also need slide presentation software such as PowerPoint or Google Slides. After you create your sample video, upload it to a shareable link such as your Google drive, or upload it as an unpublished YouTube video. Then paste link here. This video will not be published but is just a sample video to check your audio and video quality. Your sample video should include your face for at least part of your video. If your course is approved, you appearing in it is optional. You may do a voiceover teaching content without appearing in your actual course.
American Tutors reserves the right to assign a price to your course that is aligned with other courses in your niche. You will have a chance to approve the price before it is published.

American Tutors reviews your Course Proposal submission. If your course is approved, we then email you instructions for setting up your course.
